Amravati: Bajrang Dal urges exclusion of non-Hindus from Navratri celebrations

AMRAVATI, Oct. 1 – The Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) are advocating for stricter entry regulations at Navratri Garba events, which begin on October 3. During a press conference, they urged organizers to prohibit non-Hindus from participating and to verify identification, such as Aadhar cards, to ensure only Hindus enter the events.

Bajrang Dal leader Bunty Parwani, VHP’s Vibhag Mantri, Amravati City has emphasized the need for this measure, stating that non-Hindus, particularly those who do not believe in idol worship, should be barred from the celebrations to protect Hindu sentiments. The group also called for heightened security measures for women and advocated for the use of traditional songs instead of indecent music, at these events.

Parwani warned that if their concerns were ignored and any incidents occurred, the Bajrang Dal would take matters into its own hands.
